i3PT Certification works with a select group of leading home-builders on our BetterHomes® Scheme. This scheme has been devised to deliver better homes which will provide occupiers with safety, comfort and efficiency over the building's life-cycle. i3PT Certification deliver the scheme via the role of Assigned Certifier under the Building Control (Amendment) Regulations, using our ISO 17065 quality assurance process.
i3PT achieves this by working closely with the home-builders to ensure that robust inspection plans are in place during construction. Our expert team performs a detailed risk analysis of the development and checks key design criteria before construction begins. Building materials, systems and products are subjected to a robust submittals process. Quarry certificates are retained and tracked to site locations. Materials are also sent for independent laboratory tests for high-risk defects.
Our multi-disciplinary team of auditors visit site at key stages during construction and i3PT inspect every home several times during the build. i3PT track all non-compliances and ensure that they are closed out before the Assigned Certifier can sign Certificates of Compliance. i3PT Certification also collect photographic evidence of inspections and workmanship from all project stakeholders throughout the entire process.
The net result of our process and due diligence is BetterHomes®.
